Three years after Pascal FEOS released the album 3Self Reflexion2 on PV
Records, the time has come for a new repositioning. His new album will be
released on Level Non Zero, where the 3Tanzbombe- EP 2 was released
successfully last year.
It was very important for the perfectionist not to walk on the promising and
secure path of club music between elektroclash-nostalgia and eccentric
3beats and clicks2.
Of course the 3G-Tone2 Acid has a history in connection with the Chicago
House in the end of the eighties. And the modulations of 3Ausklang2 will
remind the one or another of the Acid in the nineties. But what comes first
for Pascal: 3Synaptic2 is to be understood as a homage for Techno/Techhouse
of the year 2006. It is an album which conjures-up the groove in the most
hypnotizing and mysterious way ever produced in Pascal1s studio.
3The best description for Synaptic could be 3Hypnotic Mind Music2. It was
very important for me not producing sounds which are much too detailed and
complicated2; Pascal outlines the focus of his production of the last 12
months. Even though Pascal1s album includes tracks, which will be definitely
touted for the hottest night-hymns of this year:
The title track 3Synaptic2, an uplifting-hysteric Techtrack, the reduced
bass impulses of 3Brooklyn Style2, subtle percussive subsonic-bass dub as
3Can1t get enough2 or 3Bring The Beat Back2 and last but not least 3Out Of
My Head2, the result of a cooperation with the Swiss top-Djane Manon
Abenojar-Maeder.
Moreover the album includes a remix version of 3Tanzbombe2 made by the
superb producer Robag Wruhme aka Wighnomy Brothers.
Of course Pascal insisted to present the 14 tracks of the CD version in a
consistent and fluent mix – you can count on him!
Additionally 12 tracks of the album will be released monthly as a 3musical
episode2 on 6 separate vinyl maxi releases – beginning: 12 April 2006. As a
special, the 6 covers, put together at the end of the episode, will form one
poster showing the complete artwork.
With Synaptic Pascal FEOS shows impressively that the journey for inspiring
electronic music will not end a long shot.
