FEOS/Miroir – Rezolution
LNZ 14-6

Hits. We all do know the ones proclaimed as such already in advance, prime-time slammers indeed, but dying a heroic death after a short period of time. On the contrary there are the more subtle ones, starting as cool insider stuff, attacking the DJ-playlist from the rear and stay on top without ever loosing its musical attraction
A perfect example for the second category is the LNZ013 track REZOLUTION. Even though limited on 500 white label copies, this hypnotic minimal trip became an incredible public success over the last two months. Not only, but especially on Ibiza, the FEOS & Miroir production is regularly spinned by all important Tech House DJs. Not set the dance floor alight or keep it ablaze with REZOLUTION is a big faux pas the party crowd hardly could accept.
Due to the overwhelming demand for the LNZ013 (and the fact that it’s sold out mostly everywhere) the label decided to press a second edition of this legendary tune.
Produced on the axis FFM-Berlin, the A-sided title track REZOLUTION is absolutely similar to the original version of the limited edition. Nearly seven minutes of powerful 808 magnificence, slowly built with mind capturing organ impetus in best Detroit manner and a subliminal computerworld twinkling sequence. Steadily varied, condensed and boosted by skilful breaks with monstrous clouds of reverb, this track is incredible body stimulating, but also fluxional and sedating.
Unlike the TRIA track of the limited vinyl, the flipside comes with a re-edit version of REZOLUTION, produced by Pascal FEOS’ studio mate Chris Wood. Extended to 8.30 minutes of playtime, he retained all stunning sound elements of the original, re-arranged them, gave great new accents and lifted the track cleverly up to an even higher, Minimal House energetic level. That’s why we don’t call it a B-, but AA-side track.
